On Friday, May 27, Waterside celebrated its first field day in almost two years. Every student, faculty member, and over 40 parent volunteers dressed up in their wildest blue/white outfits and celebrated a beautiful morning of games, water sports, and spirited fun! After several hours of exhausting activity, everyone gathered for a traditional blue vs white tug-o-war challenge – culminating in an exciting event enjoyed by all. The day ended with a delicious BBQ lunch (courtesy of the legendary Mrs. Moore), lively conversation, and some great laughs. Was a well spent morning and an excellent way to kick off the long Memorial Day weekend.
